The COVID-19 pandemic tested our strength and compassion, separating families, straining healthcare systems, and disrupting daily life. Yet it also revealed extraordinary courage — from healthcare and essential workers to neighbours caring for one another.

We honour those we lost and hold their memories with gratitude. We reflect on lessons of resilience, science, and solidarity, reminded that we are deeply interconnected.

As we look ahead, may we carry forward compassion, strengthen our communities, and build a more prepared and united world.

In memory. In gratitude. In hope 🙏

To those we remember here — may they know they are not forgotten. May their energy live on in those who loved them.
